FPA Retreat 2020

Special Statement Regarding COVID-19 “Coronavirus” and FPA Retreat 2020

FPA’s first priority is the health, safety and well-being of our members and everyone involved with our events. We have been closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and ongoing guidance and updates from global, federal, and local health officials, including the World Health Organization (WHO) and U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Now that the CDC has recommended that any event with more than 50 people be cancelled for at least the next two months, we cannot, in good conscience, proceed as planned with FPA Retreat 2020.

FPA was looking forward to welcoming you to the Lost Pines Resort in Cedar Creek, Texas, but we believe it is in the best interest of our attendees, speakers, partners and everyone else involved in the event, to cancel FPA Retreat this year. Despite the disappointment and impact we know you will feel, please know this decision was not made lightly. In the meantime, we are exploring ways to make some of the planned FPA Retreat sessions available virtually.

To assist our members and the wider financial planning community during these turbulent times, FPA recently launched a Volatility Resource Center that provides various resources and information that will be of assistance to you. Content will be added to the Volatility Resource Center frequently, so please bookmark that page and visit it often.
